Christine Nagel & Benoist Lapouza

These two perfume names are united by more than what they both do. Past masters of their art, they have both created fragrances for the greatest. They have come up for ICONOfly with the perfume Attache-Moi, a scent-canvas interwoven with wood, musk and amber notes. To create this evocatively named perfume, they have captured the essence of tactile and textured materials that are not easy to work with. Balsams, resins and ambers reveal their warm and sensual side, bringing to life a captivating scent to which one returns, again and again.

Earliest memories
C: When I was little, I always kept the string that was wrapped round presents from my parents. I made little bracelets with it.
B: Wishing bracelets that you knotted round the wrist. Sometimes they came true
even before the knots broke.

First feelings
B: My baptism bracelet, the first is always the one that you remember best. It’s also always the one you most frequently lose.
C: The more life goes on, the more bracelets change. I loved those ones that you could wear 10, 15, 20 at a time. They gave such a feeling of femininity.

Last wishes
B: There will always be the luxury object of course, but also the technological multi-use version. It can be used as an organiser, a watch, GPS…
C: I like the idea of a ductile band, like a second skin.
B: A scent carrier
C: Like a ribbon.
Yes, the ribbon is already the first
