Didier Lockwood

Didier Lockwood and his wife Caroline Casadesus are a kind of couple that don’t exist anymore. He composed ‘Mouettes‘ and is a star jazzman known as the "Russian Bernstein". She is a red-haired, flamboyant opera singer. From this union of jazz and classical music, an extraordinary show was born that goes from theatre to opera : ‘Le Jazz et la Diva‘.The second opus followed in 2008 and included the musical performance of Caroline's two sons Thomas and David Enhco.

First feelings
A handbag, for me, is to carry my home with me and the world at hand’s reach. Knocking about in mine are photographs of the children, an overcharged diary, pencils, make-up, toothbrush, paper, bills, passport (to be able to go anywhere in the world at any moment), credit cards, reds, greens, yellows… A cheque book, some homeopathic granules for the voice, some headphones, a little folded bag to avoid plastic pockets that harm the environment, a spoon, a book… This handbag, to me, is like my perfume, I am incredibly faithful to it. I never change it even at night when I have to be well-dressed.

Women’s handbags have always made me smile, and they must go on. They are witnesses of a life, the reflection of a personality and receive treasures that could spark off a novel.
