Following the project presented during Frieze Art fair in October 2008, Lacoste launches a collection of shoes in collaboration with architect Zaha Hadid.
The digital interpretation of the brand logo was used as the basis for the creation of surfaces with repetitive patterns. Limited to 850 copies, this collection can be found at Colette, Dover Street Market or 10 Corso Como among others.

The fashion house Mulberry, in collaboration with art gallery Fred, edited a limited set of tote bags designed by five artists. Simon English, who contributed to the "boots" issue of ICONOfly, has created a work inspired by Rebecca, the famous novel by Daphne du Maurier.The tote bags and their original designs have been exhibited at the Mulberry shop in New Bond Street in London until November 9th. The lucky person who found the "golden ticket" in her bag won the original work.

Hermès et les carrés d'Albers : une association qui semble naturelle. Pourtant, le défi était de taille : reproduire sur soie une impression irréprochable à l'image du travail de l'artiste.
Dans ses "Hommages au Carré", Joseph Albers (1888-1976), maître du Bauhaus et considéré comme l'un des initiateurs de l'Op Art, a cherché à multiplier les variations chromatiques dans le respect d'une forme géométrique stricte.
Sous le nouveau label Hermès Editeur, la célèbre maison de luxe reproduit fidèlement six de ces oeuvres, éditées chacune à 200 exemplaires et numérotées à la main. La technique dite "du bord à bord" élaborée spécialement pour l'occasion, a permis d'éliminer les frontières graphiques entre les masses de couleurs. Elles se touchent sans jamais se superposer.
