I started ICONOfly with the wish to bring together different voices and expertise around one subject at a time, and see what could happen to it in the process.

Designers, cartoonists, chefs, musicians, writers, perfumers and artists were invited to approach the same icon from their own perspective, giving a voice to an object, an image or a story and allowing it to become something else.

What began as an independent printed magazine with a circulation of 40,000 copies has evolved into a transdisciplinary platform spanning art, memory, research and olfactory creation.
Through exhibitions, publications, artistic commissions and four perfume collections, ICONOfly creates encounters between disciplines and people, often bringing overlooked stories and artists back into view.
