"This flask-bracelet as a symbol, whether to give it to someone, to wear or to keep. I’ve contrasted its dual purpose by playing on its being both a perfume and an intention : A T T A C H E M O I “. Serge Mansau (1930 - 2019) was a real artist cum sculptor, before being a designer. We were proud to work with him to envision this unique edition of flask-bracelets covered with gold leaf. They were featured at Bon Marché Rive Gauche and Artcurial in Paris.

To create in 2009 this evocatively named perfume ‘ATTACHE MOI’, Christine Nagel and Benoist Lapouza have captured the essence of tactile and textured materials that are not easy to work with. Balsams, resins and ambers reveal their warm and sensual side, bringing to life a captivating scent to which one returns, again and again.

FIRST SCREENING

ASVOFF FILM FESTIVAL CENTRE POMPIDOU
The short film inspired by ATTACHE MOI’s first perfume is part of the official selection of The Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival. First screened at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, it will tour eventually in several countries and museums. October 2011
At 3 minutes and 30 seconds, ATTACHE MOI is willfully too long to be a commercial, and arguably too short to be a "short.” Instead it is a kind of meditation that explores some of the premises of a product that is unisex and European--leaving as much as possible unstated and to be inferred.

Davina Semo is an American artist whose work has featured in numerous exhibitions at key galleries and museums. About ATTACHE MOI 55 : “… It smells warm. I see a hazy light, like the sun falling through trees or into a smoky room. This scent doesn’t smell really smoky or heavy by itself but there is substance to it. It has a weight like a yellowish color within a shadow. Or like when you see smoke caught in the light and can see the volume of it.” Interview published by Helder Suffenplan in Scentury Magazine.

ATTACHE-MOI 55 includes top notes of mandarin, mirabelle and cardamom; mid notes of osmanthus, orris and jasmine absolutes; and a drydown of woody amber cashmere musk and vetiver.

PIONEER WORKS BROOKLYN
ATTACHE MOI's third opus, IT WAS A TIME THAT WAS A TIME, is an Eau de Parfum created with the Artist Shezad Dawood. It encapsulates the story of a post-apocalyptic journey choreographed and shot on Super 8 mm in the waterfront areas of Far Rockaway, Coney Island and Staten Island, accompanied by the smell of skin, sand and salt water.

An olfactory installation premiering ICI & LA, the fourth fragrance of the ATTACHE MOI collection, in collaboration with renowned perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu and artist Marie-Luce Nadal. It is a perfume that represents fluidity of time, personal and geographical wanderings: here and there (Ici & Là).

Inspired by the idea of scent and its flow, artist Marie-Luce Nadal created a series of Clouds in Flasks. In the gallery there will be an intimate installation of olfactory pillars, photographs, video, and a mural.
